Board Actions
The board of education on Nov. 14:
- Heard a Prop S update on current construction work; view the presentation;
- Reviewed the resignations of board members Amanda Lienau and Brandon Wilkes and discussed their vacancies; Lisa Kickbusch was voted to fill the position of treasurer;
- Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s special education program evaluation; read the report, view the presentation or watch the video;
- Heard an update on Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) work at Holman and Pattonville Heights middle schools and Pattonville High school; view the presentation;
- Approved paying $4,393,092.36 for regular bills;
- Approved paying $236,330.72, for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $2,363.31);
- Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com page;
- Approved revisions to the 2022-2023 budget;
- Approved the contribution agreement between Pattonville School District and KBG, Inc. for tax revenue for a development in Maryland Heights;
- Approved the 2023-2024 Local Plan for Compliance for special education at early childhood;
- Approved paying $9,000 to Diligent for BoardDocs services for the period of Aug. 1, 2023, through July 31, 2024;
- Approved paying $7,101.50 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt for legal services;
- Approved, as lodged for action on Oct. 10, the adoption of policy ECG (Animals on District Property), revisions to policy BBF (School Board Member Ethics) and the rescission of policy JHC (Communicable Diseases);
- Awarded the proposal for website content management services to Finalsite for an initial $25,000 setup and design fee and a subsequent five-year annual cost of $20,000, for a total of $127,500;
- Approved the contract with Burwood Group, Inc. for firewall configuration services for $59,275;
- Approved the agreement with PowerSchool for the conversion of the district's account code structure for $129,096; and
- Approved the energy services contract with Schneider Electric Buildings for mechanical, electrical, building automation system, and interior and exterior lighting for a total of $10,406,614, which will be offset by utility, maintenance and cost avoidance savings.
