Board Actions
The board of education on Feb. 9:
- Heard updates from the district's audit committee and Professional Studies committee;
- Reviewed an update on the new Pattonville Early College Options program;
- Approved paying $1,908,894.04 for regular bills;
- Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of January 2021;
- Approved paying $267,329.94 for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a 1% rebate (or $2,673.30);
- Lodged for action the student and staffing projections for the 2021-2022 school year; a vote is expected at the March 9 board meeting;
- Approved the employment of certified staff for 2021-2022;
- Approved proclamations declaring March 2021 as Music in Our Schools Month and Youth Art Month in the Pattonville School District;
- Approved paying $1,038 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt, P.C. for legal services;
- Awarded a bid for the purchase and installation of the district’s main walk-in freezer and cooling system to GRP/Wegman in the amount of $35,645;
- Awarded a bid for skid steer attachments to Erb Equipment for $10,210;
- Approved the renewal of a lawn mowing services agreement with Broyles Lawn Care for March 13 through Dec. 15 for $78,750; and
- Awarded bids for the sale of surplus laptops to Total Technology for $452,679.30 and Cornerstone Technologies for $183,600.00.

- Cheryl Gragert, science teacher, Holman, effective at the end of the 2020-2021 school year, after serving Pattonville for 18 years
- Allison Stout, library media specialist, Remington, effective at the end of the 2020-2021 school year, after serving Pattonville for 20 years
