Board Actions
The board of education on July 27:
- Reviewed and approved standing committee assignments and board member school liaison assignments for the 2021-2022 school year;
- Reviewed an update on professional development for the 2021-2022 school year;
- Approved paying $1,704,711.36 for regular bills;
- Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of June 2021;
- Approved paying $773,457.79 for purchases made on the district’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1% or $7,502.54;
- Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com website;
- Declared a list of textbooks as surplus and authorized they be sold through a public bid process;
- Approved joining the Missouri Capital Asset Advantage Treasury (MOCAAT) and the MOCAAT resolution and instrument of adoption;
- Approved payment to Diligent for BoardDocs Pro services for $9,000;
- Approved paying $899 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt, P.C. for legal services;
- Approved the 2021-2022 areas of emphasis;
- Approved, as lodged for action on June 8, revisions to Pattonville's 2021-2022 student behavior guides;
- Approved the purchase and installation of furniture and work stations for the technology department to EducationPlus, care of CI Select, for $64,520.98;
- Approved the renewal of the SchoolMessenger agreement with Intrado Interactive Services Corporation for the 2021-2022 school year for $11,483.64;
- Approved the renewal of the Mitel Software assurance system and support agreement with Vertical Communication, Inc. for $11,660.40;
- Approved the renewal of the district fiber optic WAN services agreement with Clearwave Communications for $96,480;
- Approved a contract with Region Insights for Adaptive Schools collaboration for Parkwood Elementary School for $23,048;
- Approved the emergency repair of a gas leak at Holman Middle School, provided by JW Mechanical, for $19,174.80;
- Awarded a bid for copy paper supplies to Office Essentials for $21,126;
- Approved the purchase of additional MacBook Air laptops from Apple, Inc. for Pattonville High School for $127,200; and
- Approved a contract with Transportation Solutions Services, LLC, doing business as Axel, for transportation services for students in compliance with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act for $215,000.
