Board Actions
The board of education on Aug. 11:
- Heard an update on Pattonville’s plans to begin classes on Aug. 31 in phase 3 of in-person learning (100% virtual learning);
- Approved paying $2,060,992.39 for regular bills;
- Lodged for action revisions to Policy BBFA (Board Member Conflict of Interest and Financial Disclosure); a vote is expected at the Sept. 8 board meeting;
- Approved the renewal of support for the time-keeping system from TimeClock Plus, LLC for $19,201;
- Awarded the bid for labor to install bottle fillers to Kaemmerlen Facility Solutions for $37,740;
- Awarded the bid for Mitel software assurance system and support to Vertical Communications for $12,130.65;
- Approved a contract with JWE Education Consulting, LLC for consulting services for cultural proficiency training and related consulting services for the 2020-2021 school year for $20,000;
- Awarded the bid for Palo Alto firewalls and three years of support and service subscriptions to Burwood Group, Inc. for $164,407.08; and
- Approved a contract with Clearwave Communications to renew the fiber option WAN services for $95,520.
